Smartwares Group, a fast‑growing B2B supplier of smart safety, lighting and home appliances (brands include Tristar, Princess and Smartwares), faced fragmented and error‑prone product data after a 2016 merger: information was spread across two ERPs, Excel, InDesign, CMS and server files, making multi‑language exports and distribution to web channels difficult. To address this, Smartwares selected Perfion and its Perfion PIM to centralize and standardize product information.

Perfion implemented a single source of truth integrated with Sana Commerce and Dynamics NAV, forcing a cleanup and restructure of feature data and the ERP. As a result, Perfion now feeds 6,500 items in 8 languages to 15 websites, InDesign catalogs, Icecat, marketplaces, Excel exports, pricelists and data sheets, enabling faster, error‑reduced updates and standardized exports — with Perfion documenting a return on investment of under a year.
