Harken, a global manufacturer of sailboat hardware, needed to publish product data across catalogs and websites in more than 10 languages but had no central global source of product information. This decentralized setup made creating and updating content nearly impossible and hindered local, branded publishing—so Harken selected the Perfion PIM system to provide a single source of truth for all product data.

Perfion was implemented as Harken’s central product information hub, fully integrated with their ERP, offering an XML API and an InDesign® plug‑in so product data and images update automatically in catalogs and web channels. The solution enabled marketing and sales to produce on‑the‑fly pricelists, catalogs and localized content within corporate templates, allowed multiple language versions to be managed from the same dialog, and delivered faster, instantaneous publishing — with Perfion demonstrating a documented ROI of less than a year.
