A Perfion Case Study
Exalto, a Dutch technical wholesaler for marine equipment, faced fragmented and outdated product information stored across PDFs, Excel files, supplier brochures and network drives, while its website and catalog system required external help for even small field changes. To address this, Exalto chose the Perfion Product Information Management (PIM) system to centralize and control product data.
Perfion was implemented with seamless integration to Exalto’s Dynamics NAV ERP and the Sana Commerce webshop, creating a Single Source of Truth that eliminated double data maintenance and feeds current descriptions, images and technical data to the eCommerce site and InDesign catalogs. As a result, Exalto can now manage ~15,000 products in-house, make faster updates without external specialists, ensure consistent data across channels, and plans to extend Perfion-driven output to labels, manuals and additional languages.
