Case Study: Trollbeads achieves huge time savings and centralized global product data with Perfion

A Perfion Case Study

Preview of the Trollbeads Case Study

Data inheritance saves us huge amounts of time

Trollbeads, the Danish jewelry maker present in more than 50 countries with a collection of 600+ unique beads, struggled with fragmented product information across Excel, web platforms and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which made reporting and master-data control difficult. To address this, Trollbeads adopted Perfion’s PIM system to centralize product master data and translations.

Perfion centralized all product information, managed 20 language translations and 23 currencies, and automatically pushed items, categories and related-product data to Trollbeads’ B2B/B2C webshops (Microsoft Commerce Server and Demandware) and five Dynamics NAV ERP installations. Perfion’s inheritance functionality lets new products be created by filling only four fields, saving huge amounts of time, enforcing lifecycle processes, supporting growth from ~50 to 150–200 employees without extra IT/logistics resources, and delivering a documented ROI in under a year.
