Case Study: NHP Electrical Engineering Products achieves unified product data visibility and Dynamics AX integration with Perfion

NHP Electrical Engineering Products, a major Australian supplier of motor control, power distribution and automation systems, struggled with a large volume of product-related material that was not linked to items in their ERP after moving to Microsoft Dynamics AX. To address this, NHP chose Perfion’s Product Information Management (PIM) system to link structured and unstructured data and provide integration with Dynamics AX.

Perfion implemented a “bridge solution” that connects all item-related material to Dynamics AX, enabling users to see structured and unstructured product data at the same time and manage the release of items into the ERP. As a result, NHP now generates automated pricelists via the EasyCatalogue plug-in for their website, produces customer-specific and InDesign catalog content, deploys active website parts, and has achieved measurable process improvements and a rapid ROI (Perfion documents a return on investment in under a year).
