Friskis & Svettis, a Swedish non-profit founded in 1978 with about 500,000 members across several countries, needed to unify multiple branches and replace a fragmented setup (a WordPress calendar plugin plus a custom membership system) that caused security risks, poor UX for sign-ups and renewals, and manual bank-transfer payments. They chose PerfectGym to migrate data and consolidate functionality into a single, cloud-based platform and app.

PerfectGym implemented its cloud platform and the PerfectGym Go mobile app to integrate subscriptions, booking tools, virtual session links, and electronic payment providers, plus role-based access for volunteer trainers and built-in reporting for personalized member outreach. As a result, Friskis & Svettis now offer self-service online enrollment and electronic payments instead of manual transfers, one-click mobile booking (the app became the primary member interface), improved system availability and security, and easier volunteer and communication management.
