Norfolk State University Web Team Manages Over 300 Websites with Percussion CMS

Norfolk State University faced a major content-management challenge as its web presence grew from a handful of sites to more than 200–300, overwhelming a small web team and creating outdated, inconsistent content. To give non-technical contributors an easy, brand-controlled way to edit pages, NSU selected Percussion and implemented Percussion CMS across its campus sites.

Percussion delivered a code-free CMS, editor training, role-based permissions, scheduling and bulk asset tools that let contributors update content daily while freeing the web team to focus on strategy. The Percussion implementation cut student information requests from about 100 per week to one or two per month, reduced update turnaround from 1–3 days to almost immediate, increased editor engagement, and sped asset management (bulk uploader and folder permissions) — enabling Norfolk State University to manage 300+ sites efficiently.
