Mizuno was looking to build on its in-store expert staff to help customers explore and engage with products in a new way. Their objective was to educate shoppers, bring joy to the experience, and convert them into lifetime brand ambassadors. To meet this challenge, Mizuno partnered with the vendor Perch to implement its interactive digital displays.
The solution from Perch involved installing interactive displays in baseball, golf, tennis, and volleyball departments. These units activated dynamic digital content the moment a product was picked up, creating a combined physical and digital experience. This strategy was highly successful, resulting in 18,931 engaged customers and 67,411 product interactions per year. Perch provided Mizuno with the tools to update content in real-time based on consumer demand, fostering significant engagement and deepening brand loyalty.
