Unilever wanted a better way to connect with beauty shoppers in crowded mass retail and to deliver Dove’s brand story, product education, and cross-sell messaging at the point of sale. Perch, using Raydiant’s smart shelf and retail experience platform, helped address the challenge of standing out in-store and turning product consideration into a richer shopper experience.

Perch implemented an interactive smart shelf end cap at Giant stores with lift-and-learn functionality, a touchscreen, branded visual design, and QR codes tied to Dove’s education content and Self-Esteem project. The result was an average 42% sales lift, a 41% increase in items per basket, and a 112% sales lift for deodorants, the only category with full assortment during the test period.
