Enel's Global Thermal Generation, a major European energy firm, sought to digitize its infrastructure to improve safety and optimize operations at its power plants. The challenge was that existing drone technologies were pilot-dependent and only provided sporadic data, which limited their availability and prevented the deep, continuous analysis required for meaningful insights. They turned to Percepto for its autonomous drone solution.

Percepto implemented its autonomous drone system, which includes the PerceptoBase docking station and PerceptoCore AI technology, to perform round-the-clock monitoring, inspection, and security missions. The solution provided real-time alerts, improved decision-making, reduced human risk, and lowered maintenance costs by enabling preemptive maintenance.
