Neosoma faced the challenge of delivering objective, standardized brain tumor measurements for neuro‑oncology trials where manual volumetric assessments are slow and variable. Perceptive partnered to address this need by deploying Neosoma’s AI‑based neuro‑oncology software device to provide automated, quantitative tumor evaluation alongside existing trial workflows.

Perceptive implemented Neosoma’s solution to produce automated 3D intratumoral segmentation and longitudinal volumetric measurements from standard MRI sequences (pre/post‑contrast T1w, T2w, FLAIR), outputting enhancing, T2/FLAIR, necrosis/cavity and whole‑tumor volumes. The result was faster, more consistent and more precise tumor change assessments with high accuracy, usable for criteria‑based endpoints and retrospective analysis, deployable within imaging infrastructures (e.g., Calyx) without data custody risk — supporting longitudinal plots across timepoints and strengthening neuro‑oncology trial readouts.
