A Peppy Case Study

Preview of the Santander Case Study

Santander - Customer Case Study

Santander, one of the UK’s largest employers, identified menopause as a workplace issue affecting a significant share of its female workforce. In a 2019 survey, many colleagues said they lacked support, were uncomfortable speaking to managers, and were experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety and brain fog. Santander then piloted Peppy Menopause, a specialist menopause support service from Peppy, to better understand and address employee needs.

Peppy implemented one-to-one chat and video appointments with menopause practitioners, moderated group chat, tailored wellbeing support, and access to resources and events. After just four weeks, 90% of participants felt more positive about Santander as an employer, 94% would recommend the service, and 76% said their symptoms had improved. Following the successful pilot, Santander rolled out Peppy Menopause to all 20,000 UK employees, with 600 colleagues now using the service and strong engagement across chats, events and consultations.
