Case Study: RetailMeNot achieves 70% new-customer sales in apparel with Pepperjam's Dynamic Commissioning platform

A Pepperjam Case Study

Preview of the RetailMeNot Case Study

Dynamic commissioning platform highlights RetailMeNot as a top new-to-file customer driver

RetailMeNot, a leading savings destination that connects retailers and brands with millions of consumers, faced the common industry misconception that promotional and deal sites don’t drive new customers. Pepperjam addressed this with its Dynamic Commissioning platform, which gives retailers visibility into new versus existing customer data to better measure performance.

Using the Pepperjam Network’s Dynamic Commissioning platform, Pepperjam analyzed 13 clothing/apparel advertisers (10/16–4/17) that consistently supplied the new-to-file (NTF) parameter and found RetailMeNot drove the most new-customer revenue in that set—on average 70% new-customer sales versus 30% existing each month, with an average order value of $84. With Pepperjam’s insight, advertisers and RetailMeNot can now book placements specifically to achieve new-to-file KPIs.
