Young's, a pub operator with over 200 sites, engaged the vendor Pepper to initially develop a digital loyalty program. The challenge was to enhance customer engagement and drive revenue through digital means.
Pepper implemented an integrated loyalty and ordering solution called the OnTap app. The solution allows customers to run a digital tab, order to table, and pre-order. This has resulted in over 200,000 active users per month, with those users demonstrating a higher average transaction value. The app also benefits staff through a tipping feature and provides the head office with new digital marketing capabilities to drive key initiatives.
