Viggo Petersens - Customer Case Study

Viggo Petersens, Denmark’s oldest freight company operating more than 100 trucks, needed better, more accessible communication between drivers and the office. After built‑in navigation proved costly and tablets lacked reliable GPS and central management, Northcom Denmark proposed a solution based on Peplink technology (Pepwave MAX BR1 routers and Peplink InControl 2) to provide a robust failover and fleet connectivity system.

Peplink’s Pepwave MAX BR1 LTE routers were installed in each vehicle to provide automatic cellular failover and GPS forwarding via Wi‑Fi to cabin tablets, with all devices centrally managed through Peplink’s InControl 2 cloud platform. Deployed across the company’s 100+ trucks, the Peplink solution delivered reliable connectivity, consolidated GPS data, simplified remote management, reduced operating costs compared with previous systems, and improved driver‑office communication and route planning, boosting overall operational efficiency.
