PRO SIEGES MARINE, through crew member Frédéric Olivier and the Vert Banquise sailing team, faced the challenge of staying connected while making a three-month voyage from France to Svalbard. They needed reliable internet access at sea, especially near the coast, so they could keep up with their businesses and support a nomadic working lifestyle. Peplink provided the connectivity solution for this marine environment.
Peplink equipped the vessel with a Balance 20X, a HD Dome with 5G capability mounted 20 meters high on the masthead, and a SIM Injector for easier carrier switching across regions. The setup enabled up to two cellular connections and gave the crew fast, reliable connectivity while sailing near shore, helping them stay fully operational during the journey.
