The difficult terrain made traditional fiber links too costly, and their existing reliance on microwave and satellite connectivity resulted in poor performance. They partnered with Peplink to find a more robust and cost-effective backhaul solution.

Peplink implemented a solution using its B One and Balance 2500 EC routers bonded with Starlink satellite connections. This setup created a high-speed, redundant network link using SpeedFusion VPN technology. The results were dramatic, achieving download speeds up to 360 Mbps and significantly reducing operational costs for Terrenova ICT. This enabled the deployment of the Peplink solution across 67 sites, bringing reliable connectivity to support mobile payments and improve network resilience for thousands of users.
