S/Y Namaste - Customer Case Study

S/Y Namaste, a 24M sailing catamaran, needed an upgraded communications system to support high data use across cellular and VSAT while fitting into a compact interior. Axxess Marine recommended a Peplink-based solution combining an Inmarsat satellite system with Pepwave/Peplink hardware — Pepwave MAX HD2 Mini, Balance 210, and a Pepwave SIM Injector — to provide robust cellular coverage, simplified installation and remote SIM management.

Peplink hardware was deployed with the MAX HD2 Mini delivering dual embedded cellular in a small form factor, the Balance 210 providing dual‑WAN routing, SpeedFusion bonding and PoE, and the SIM Injector reducing cable run and enabling remote SIM control. The upgrade delivered continuous, stable internet and fast data throughout S/Y Namaste’s extensive itinerary (including during global lockdowns), meeting client expectations and significantly improving onboard connectivity reliability.
