Global Container Transportation Company, a global container transportation operator with more than 200 sites, needed a hardware and ecosystem refresh for its outdated network to better connect remote locations to HQ without downtime. The company’s existing fixed MPLS and backup port-side Wi‑Fi were unreliable, creating connectivity issues that slowed increasingly automated container handling operations.

Peplink worked with the customer’s IT team to deploy a rugged SD-WAN solution built around the MAX Transit Duo Pro, with LTE added for wider dock coverage, a Balance 710 at HQ, and an SD Switch 8-Port Rugged for wired devices. Using SpeedFusion VPN and bandwidth bonding, Peplink enabled uninterrupted connectivity for remote crane operations, monitoring, VoIP, and IoT data, supporting 24/7 oversight and allowing the company to scale cargo handling with no connectivity downtime.
