A Peplink Case Study
A large privately owned bank in Southeast Asia needed to strengthen its branch edge network security for the transmission of confidential information across its ATMs and mobile banks. Their challenge was to create a more secure network with a public IP, establish secure VPN tunnels to each remote unit, enable fleet tracking, and find a centralized management solution, all while ensuring fast deployment and maintaining a scalable infrastructure.
Peplink provided a solution by deploying their MAX BR1 Mini routers to the ATMs and mobile banks and establishing a FusionHub at the head office to create SpeedFusion VPN tunnels. This was all managed via the InControl Virtual Appliance platform. The result was a rapidly deployed, highly secure private network with greater data protection and the ability to monitor all devices from a single dashboard. The bank is now confident in its ability to scale its network infrastructure securely with Peplink's solutions.
