Privately Hosted Network Dispatched to Public Safety Ambulances

Peplink worked with a large European hospital that needed reliable, future-ready connectivity for its ambulance fleet. The hospital wanted a dual-modem minimum, secure ambulance-to-hospital transmissions, and a privately managed network to protect sensitive medical data, so it turned to Peplink’s mobile networking and SpeedFusion solutions.

Peplink deployed MAX HD4 MBX 5G routers in the ambulances and Balance 2500 EC units in high-availability mode at the hospital, with InControl hosted privately as an ICVA on the hospital’s server. This gave the hospital centralized management, GPS fleet tracking, remote device access, and secure SpeedFusion tunnels for continuous connectivity and better uptime, while keeping control of the network in-house.
