Pluss - Customer Case Study

Pluss is a UK social enterprise that creates employment for disabled and disadvantaged people across 37 locations and over 300 active users. Faced with high costs and limited scalability from a managed MPLS WAN, IT Manager Steve Taylor sought a lower-cost, higher-performance alternative and chose Peplink’s Balance series routers and SpeedFusion bonding technology to replace MPLS with DSL/commodity links.

Peplink deployed Balance appliances (including 580/380/1350 models) and SpeedFusion to aggregate multiple WAN connections and deliver enterprise SD‑WAN, link aggregation/load‑balancing (across five WAN links) and secure VPN/WAN. The solution cut operational expenditure versus MPLS, improved agility to add or remove bandwidth at any site, reduced support overhead so first‑line engineers can manage the network, and delivered reliable connectivity that freed engineers to focus on customer‑facing projects.
