Peplink Supercharges Orsan’s Offices and Mobil Gas Stations with Advanced SD-WAN Architecture

Mobil, part of Orsan’s fuel network in Mexico, needed a better way to connect 170 gas stations and branch offices to its data center for payment processing and data access. The company faced routing inefficiencies, limited wired access at some stations, and the need for a highly manageable, scalable network across widely distributed locations. Peplink provided the SD-WAN and cellular connectivity foundation to address these challenges.

Peplink implemented a SpeedFusion-based architecture using Balance 380 units at corporate offices, Balance 20X units at gas stations, Balance 710 units in the data center, and Fusionhub for cloud extension, all with high availability where needed. The result was improved PoS reliability, faster transaction performance, reduced downtime, and a deployment that meets local government and PCI Security Standards requirements while remaining easy to scale.
