Alltech Solutions, a full-service technology and network solutions provider for California schools, needed to manage connectivity for three public charter school organizations spanning 68 sites while cutting the high cost and ISP lock‑in of private T1 leased lines. To address this, Alltech implemented Peplink’s SD‑WAN hardware and services, including Balance 2500 and Balance 210 appliances, MAX HD2 units, and FusionHub hosted on AWS and Google Cloud.
Alltech deployed two Balance 2500s (office and colocation) tied to FusionHub, Balance 210s at each remote site connected via Peplink SpeedFusion with USB LTE hotspots for failover, and MAX HD2 units for sites without wired internet. The Peplink solution delivered dramatically lower connectivity costs and much faster, more resilient links, kept networks running reliably for years without hardware replacements, and supported a 16 TB cloud migration completed in one month.
