Metro Wireless Brings Peplink & Starlink Solution Within Reach for Remote Site

Metro Wireless, a provider of connectivity solutions to remote areas, faced a challenge when an oil and gas client's new manufacturing facility required far more bandwidth than the existing cellular solution could provide. The few nearby towers were congested, leading to insufficient throughput for the significantly increased number of users. Peplink routers and antennas were in use, but a more robust solution was needed.

Peplink's solution added Starlink connectivity to the existing cellular setup using BR1 Pro 5G routers and SpeedFusion technology. This allowed the connections to be bonded for higher throughput or to failover seamlessly. The results included enhanced performance with reduced latency, continuous uptime during a nationwide Starlink outage, and the reliable use of a static IP block. This combined Peplink and Starlink solution prevented any costly operational interruptions for the client.
