Live X Discovers the X Factor in Peplink’s Devices

Live X is a technology-as-a-service company that provides live broadcasting and streaming for major events. As their New York headquarters network grew more mission-critical, they ran into problems with their existing internet setup: when a dedicated line failed, they lost public IPs and critical communications, putting live productions at risk. Live X turned to Peplink, working with Castle Point Technologies, to find a more reliable connectivity solution.

Peplink implemented a high-availability SDX Pro-based setup with dual fiber ISPs at branch locations, SpeedFusion Hub support in Live X’s data center, and UBR LTE routers for remote employees. The deployment used SpeedFusion, Hot Failover, and WAN Smoothing to keep services online and move public IPs to a stronger location. As a result, Live X has achieved 100% uptime since deployment, and the new infrastructure enabled remote production support, including the 2021 New Year’s Eve event in Times Square.
