A Peplink Case Study
Leighton Art Centre, a museum and arts center in rural Alberta, Canada, needed a fast, secure, and cost-effective network to support ecommerce, office staff, school communications, guest Wi‑Fi, and large data transfers across five buildings on an 80-acre site. With unreliable rural broadband and expensive cellular options, the center turned to Peplink for a more dependable connectivity solution.
Peplink, working through DCI Technologies, deployed a Balance 20X as the main router with dual WAN connections for Starlink and a Telus Hub, plus a Mobility 42G antenna, an 8-port rugged switch, and AP One AC Mini access points throughout the buildings. The network uses multiple VLANs with tailored policies, including SpeedFusion Connect for ecommerce and a guest portal limited to Starlink, while InTouch and InControl 2 simplify remote management. As a result, Leighton Art Centre now has a much faster, more reliable network at a lower operating cost.
