Leading Oil & Gas Company, Pacific Drilling, needed a reliable, low-latency VPN and internet connectivity solution to support offshore drilling operations and real-time applications while meeting strict cybersecurity requirements. Working with Peplink, the company sought a cost-effective way to connect the Pacific Santa Ana in the Canary Islands to its Houston headquarters.

Peplink and TechFirm Canarias deployed a SpeedFusion-based LTE SD-WAN solution using the MAX HD4 MBX, HD1 Dome, BR1 IP67, PUMA Antenna, and FusionHub in the datacenter. The setup bonded six SIM cards across multiple providers, excluded links with latency above 150 ms, and used AES-256 VPN encryption, delivering resilient connectivity, session persistence, and lower operating costs for the fleet.
