JVCKENWOOD Corporation - Customer Case Study

JVCKENWOOD Corporation faced a sudden shift to remote audiences as COVID-19 shut venues, creating a pressing need for reliable live streaming from sites that often lack robust wired uplinks. Variable cellular coverage, limited upload bandwidth and packet loss were causing dropped frames, stalls and degraded video quality, so JVCKENWOOD turned to Peplink’s SpeedFusion Engine Cam (SFE Cam) to enable professional bonded-cellular streaming for multi-camera productions.

Peplink deployed the SpeedFusion Engine Cam on each camera to bond multiple cellular links, using WAN Smoothing and Forward Error Correction to mitigate packet loss and maintain stream continuity, with feeds tunneled to a cloud centre for low-latency mixing and distribution. The Peplink solution transformed cameras into portable, VPN-connected hotspots, significantly reducing interruptions and enabling scalable, high-quality multi-camera live streams without relying on fixed infrastructure.
