iTel Network worked with a nationwide Canadian financial institution facing unreliable branch connectivity because its existing TelCo MPLS infrastructure depended heavily on poor local wired-line coverage. To address this challenge, iTel turned to Peplink to help build a more resilient, cost-effective SD-WAN and VPN connectivity approach for thousands of branch locations.

Peplink implemented 1,068 MAX Transit Core routers, integrated with the client’s existing VPN and managed through InControl 2, with SpeedFusion encryption, dual-carrier SIM support, and Hot Failover for tertiary cellular backup. The result was significantly improved uptime, 360° network visibility, reduced downtime costs, and data pooling across two cellular carriers, giving the financial institution more reliable and seamless connectivity.
