IE Teniente Cruz Paredes Graduates to Dependable Connectivity

IE Teniente Cruz Paredes, a school in Cumaral, Colombia, needed reliable internet access to support students’ learning and the school’s focus on academic and social development. With weak on-campus connectivity, teachers often had to use their own mobile phone data as hotspots, leaving parts of the school without internet for weeks at a time. Peplink helped address this challenge with networking equipment suited for dependable school connectivity.

Peplink, together with FrontierUS, donated and deployed a Balance Two router and six AP One AX access points, along with switches and cabling, to extend Wi‑Fi throughout the campus. Managed through InControl, the new network delivered high-speed internet to every classroom, improved coverage and bandwidth distribution, and enabled educational streaming, interactive lessons, and group projects. The school also repurposed old equipment for secondary Wi‑Fi networks with throughput limits to preserve the main network’s performance.
