Harrington Industrial Plastics, the USA’s largest industrial plastics distributor, needed to replace expensive, saturated T1s and an MPLS arrangement that left branch sites vulnerable to ISP outages. To gain redundancy, higher bandwidth and lower costs they chose Peplink’s SD‑WAN solution, including Balance 380 and Balance 1350 appliances and Peplink SpeedFusion technology.

Peplink deployed redundant Balance 380 units at headquarters and branches, enabled automatic failover with 4G USB modem backups, and used SpeedFusion bonding and SD‑WAN features for seamless multi‑link performance and centralized management. The new Peplink solution cut annual WAN costs from $192,000 to $92,000 for 43 sites (about $100K saved per year), increased total bandwidth from 36 Mbps to 138 Mbps, and substantially improved uptime and resilience.
