Enigma XK, a 71.4m luxury expedition yacht, faced a fragmented onboard IT estate made up of mixed routers and switches from multiple integrators, causing maintenance, troubleshooting and unsupported-system issues. To address this, SeaSatCom proposed and deployed Peplink infrastructure—leveraging Peplink appliances and the InControl cloud-based management service—to consolidate the LAN and provide SLA-backed remote support.

SeaSatCom, as a Peplink certified partner, implemented the Peplink solution with minimal hardware and remote commissioning via InControl; the ship’s crew only needed to patch cables to the correct ports. The Peplink deployment delivered rapid setup and commissioning, full integration of IT/AV/CCTV/LIGHTS/HVAC/telemedicine systems, real-time bandwidth analytics, traffic control and WAN cost management, and measurable reductions in on‑site work and troubleshooting while meeting the agreed SLA.
