Endicott College, a 235-acre oceanfront institution with over 2,500 students, faced network capacity and reliability problems as enrollment grew — and previous vendors required costly architecture changes. To avoid disruption, Endicott turned to Peplink, initially deploying a Balance 710 in Drop-in Mode and later upgrading to a Balance 1350.

Peplink’s Balance appliances delivered one-box load balancing, DNS services, outbound policy and seamless failover (SpeedFusion bonding), integrating with Endicott’s existing network with simple setup and lower costs. The Peplink solution made outages nearly invisible, supported a primary connection boost to 500Mb, enabled a maximum throughput of 1500Mbps and more than 5,000 simultaneous users, and runs with two inexpensive 100Mb backup lines for added resilience.
