Emergency Response Plan in Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok Thailand

Don Mueang Airport, Thailand’s busy low-cost carrier hub handling over 40 million passengers annually, needed a way to live stream Emergency Response Plan training — eight simultaneous video feeds from the runway — where cellular coverage was limited and on-site internet was prohibitively expensive. To meet this challenge the airport partnered with CYN Communication using Peplink technology, including MAX Transit Duo routers, FusionHub virtual server, SpeedFusion bonding and WAN Smoothing.

CYN implemented a portable system of 8 encoders, 4 MAX Transit Duo units (each fitted with three unlimited-data SIMs delivering 10 Mbps upload), generic routers, UPS/backup power and Peplink’s FusionHub in the cloud; SpeedFusion and WAN Smoothing bonded the links and delivered the feeds. The Peplink-based solution produced a stable, jitter-free live stream of all eight camera feeds with latency under one second, enabling real-time training broadcasts to staff.
