Creating the Next-Generation Sports Experience with Starlink and Peplink

A large multinational corporation headquartered in Japan is building a new sports arena set to open in fall 2025 and wanted to deliver a next-generation fan experience with live production, streaming, and AR/VR roadshow vans. To support this, it turned to Peplink because the arena will have around 10,000 spectators at full capacity, making cellular networks unreliable, while the mobile vans also need consistent connectivity across varying locations.

Peplink implemented a solution centered on the Balance 2500 EC and BR2 Pro, both integrated with Starlink and bonded through SpeedFusion Connect. The arena router combines wired and Starlink links for high-capacity production, while the BR2 Pro adds dual 5G redundancy and Starlink for mobile sites; together they provide hot failover, bandwidth bonding, remote access, and strong resilience for uninterrupted live production, streaming, and AR/VR.
