Constant Connectivity for Code Blue Help Points

Code Blue Corporation, an American pioneer in emergency communications, deployed more than 120 Help Points® across Long Island Rail Road stations and needed a compact, weatherproof solution to provide constant, high-availability connectivity inside outdoor kiosks. To meet this need they partnered with Access Wireless and Peplink partner Frontier Computer Corp., choosing Peplink hardware and services—notably the MAX BR1 Mini, Balance series router (as a SpeedFusion Hub), and cloud management via InControl 2.

Frontier and Access Wireless installed a Peplink MAX BR1 Mini in each kiosk connected to a Balance router SpeedFusion Hub, with all endpoints managed through Peplink’s InControl 2. Peplink’s SpeedFusion Hot Failover delivers virtually unbreakable 24/7 connectivity for passengers, while InControl 2 enables single‑screen remote monitoring and configuration, reducing management time and resources and enabling video, audio and diagnostics reporting back to customers or AWS.
