Coffeehouse Chain Gets a Double Shot of Stable and Agile Connectivity

Leading Multinational Coffeehouse Chain, with more than 10,000 U.S. branches, needed to replace aging POTS lines that were costly to maintain, slow to provision and vulnerable in remote locations. They turned to Peplink for a more flexible connectivity approach, evaluating Peplink MAX BR1 Mini LTE devices and the InControl 2 cloud management platform to support VoIP and simplify expansion.

Peplink, working through an MSP partner, deployed MAX BR1 Minis and managed them with InControl 2 in more than 300 branches, moving voice to a hosted PBX and replacing POTS with LTE-backed VoIP. The Peplink solution eliminated local PBX hardware, reduced maintenance and provisioning costs, enabled remote configuration to cut on-site IT needs, and delivered more stable, resilient connectivity across retail operations.
