Case Study: Clinton National Bank achieves 20/5 Mbps speed, resilient MPLS backup and monthly cost savings with Peplink

A Peplink Case Study

Preview of the Clinton National Bank Case Study

Clinton National Bank Branch Networking

Clinton National Bank, a long-established Iowa financial institution, was operating nine branches on a limited MPLS T1 network with no redundancy and poor capacity for large data transfers, forcing tape‑based offsite backups. To solve the need for faster, resilient branch connectivity and an MPLS backup, Clinton National Bank turned to Peplink, deploying products including the Balance 580, Balance 210 and SpeedFusion technology.

Peplink implemented Balance 580 units at the two largest sites (production and DR), Balance 210s at other branches, and used SpeedFusion to bond multiple affordable high‑speed WAN links for secure, full‑speed replication and failover. As a result, Clinton National Bank’s throughput rose to 20/5 Mbps from 1.5 Mbps, enabling reliable datacenter replication, rapid ROI, and ongoing monthly network cost savings while greatly improving resilience against branch outages.
