Beebe Buses Ride On Peplink Connectivity

Beebe School District needed a way to keep students connected when schoolwork moved online during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since up to 25% of students lacked reliable Wi‑Fi access. Two Beebe High School students helped drive a proposal for bus-based internet access so students could complete assignments during their commute.

Peplink, working through partner Premier Wireless, implemented MAX BR1 Pro 5G routers on Beebe’s buses to deliver onboard Wi‑Fi using 5G and Wi‑Fi 6. The solution gave students reliable connectivity on all 47 bus routes and also improved bus safety and fleet visibility with real-time camera access and GPS tracking.
