Leading Agriculture Technology Solutions Company, a European provider of planting equipment, steering devices, and monitor displays, needed constant wireless connectivity in tractor cabs to support a newly launched GPS-based display feature. To meet the harsh environmental and temperature demands of farm use, they evaluated solutions from Peplink and selected a fit-for-purpose approach.

With support from a Peplink distributor, the company deployed the MAX BR1 Mini and set up InControl 2 plus out-of-band management to enable cellular connectivity, remote monitoring, and easy scaling. Peplink’s rugged MAX BR1 Mini (certified for continuous operation and rated for -40°F to 149°F) delivered stable in-field internet access so the new display features work reliably, and InControl 2 allowed centralized management and roll-out of additional units without manual monitoring.
