OceanFirst Bank worked with PeopleMetrics to address low awareness of its Nest Egg digital investment advice service, which the bank had launched in 2018 with a third-party partner. Although Nest Egg was intended to set OceanFirst apart from competitors, initial customer survey results showed that very few customers knew about the offering.
PeopleMetrics added an awareness question to OceanFirst Bank’s ongoing Voice of the Customer Survey so the bank could track the issue over time and measure the effect of its marketing campaign. With PeopleMetrics’ reporting, OceanFirst Bank saw awareness rise by 285% from January 2019 to January 2020 and then by another 148% from January 2020 to July 2021, while also being able to track awareness by touchpoint.
