How Family Promise was able to grow their organization nationwide with PeopleKeep

Family Promise, a national nonprofit supporting families through more than 200 affiliates, faced a common small-employer challenge: limited budgets and very small staffs made it difficult to offer a meaningful, marketable health benefit. To address recruiting and retention needs, Family Promise turned to PeopleKeep and the qualified small employer HRA (QSEHRA) as a potential solution.

PeopleKeep implemented a QSEHRA with personalized advisor support and simple software, allowing affiliates to offer tax-free reimbursements for premiums and out-of-pocket medical costs. As a result, 15 Family Promise affiliates adopted the PeopleKeep QSEHRA, administration takes less than 30 minutes per month (onboarding ~30 minutes), participation at pilot sites is 100%, and affiliates report improved hiring, retention, and reduced tax burden compared with prior stipends.
