The University of Notre Dame engaged PeopleGrove to solve a lack of centralized resources for alumni communication, event organization, and student–alumni networking. Notre Dame needed an alumni engagement platform—launched as the Irish Compass—that would drive connections while preserving the university’s brand and look-and-feel.

PeopleGrove implemented an “alumni-first” Irish Compass rollout with segmented email campaigns (Young, Working, Senior alumni), curated job postings, a resource Library, 30 industry groups, and multichannel marketing (social ads, stadium videos, print). Since the Fall 2017 launch the PeopleGrove-powered platform has attracted over 16,000 active users (10,700 alumni) and facilitated more than 8,000 messages, delivering measurable alumni and student engagement.
