VCU Health Center Tackles Learning Automation While Fighting a Pandemic

VCU Health Center faced an urgent learning challenge at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic: convert paper-based, in-person training into a digital program in just seven days to ensure essential workers who could not attend classroom sessions received timely, trackable COVID-19 instruction and compliance documentation.

VCU leveraged its PeopleFluent LMS to rapidly deploy pre-recorded modules, live video sessions and automated invites, create a task force to roll training out across 80 partner units, and generate 150 scheduled compliance reports (some sent to state health authorities). The effort scaled to 24,000 employees, increased learning consumption, simplified reporting, and delivered faster, record-breaking compliance tracking during the crisis.
