A PeopleAdmin Case Study
Aims Community College wanted to streamline the process of hiring work-study students through off-campus community partners while keeping the process organized, fair, and easy for HR and financial aid to oversee. The college worked with PeopleAdmin and used its higher education Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage student hiring across internal and external employers.
PeopleAdmin helped Aims set up a dedicated ATS division for off-campus work-study employers, gave the financial aid director oversight access, and enabled each community partner to create its own postings. With one-on-one training and HR support, the college simplified applicant selection and hiring, improved visibility for financial aid, and made the overall process much smoother—Ranae Covel noted that what was once difficult is now “much simpler.”
