Pentana Enables Standardisation and Accountability through Improved Collaborative Working for BBVA

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), a multinational banking group, needed an automated audit management tool to tackle poor communication, inconsistent knowledge exchange, security concerns and the lack of standardised policies and accountability across its audit function. A six‑auditor selection committee evaluated three shortlisted solutions to identify the best strategic fit.

BBVA chose Pentana for its versatility and functionality; after rollout to about 650 users it improved communication around risk management, producing better audits and stronger testing of the bank’s risk model. Pentana’s data‑grid report views let users build, save, share and reuse customized reports and snapshots enterprise‑wide, supporting standardised methodologies, easier global deployment and greater accountability.
