Havebury integrates Pentana Performance with Capita Housing Management system for automated PI data updates

Havebury Housing Partnership, a not-for-profit managing about 6,000 properties in West Suffolk, needed to manage more than 2,750 performance indicators across multiple teams. With many “feeder” PIs and frequent updates from their Capita Housing Management system, manual imports were time-consuming, error-prone and could not support the volume or refresh frequency required for timely performance management.

Havebury implemented Pentana Performance Integration using the PI Web Service: teams configured PIs and formulas in Pentana, then an IT-built middleware extracts data from Capita via SQL (matching PI codes), builds XML files and posts them to the web service. The automated feed immediately recalculates results, displays traffic‑light gauges and allows drill-down to source records; benefits include major time savings (eg, cutting at least two weeks from the RSR process), fewer rekeying errors, objective, real-time KPIs, improved repairs outcomes and expanded analysis of tenant satisfaction data.
