BOS, an international automotive systems and components company with operations across Europe, North America, and Asia, needed a standardized way to produce high-quality reports with less manual effort. Its data was spread across local systems, Excel files, SAP, and in-house applications, making reporting slow, fragmented, and difficult to manage. BOS turned to Pentaho and its partner IT-Novum, using Pentaho Business Analytics and Pentaho Data Integration to address the challenge.

Pentaho and IT-Novum implemented a centralized management and reporting platform with project, operations, and supplier-evaluation cockpits. The solution consolidated data into a warehouse, automated supplier reviews, and supported about 30 KPIs for production monitoring. As a result, BOS can now quickly analyze data and create polished reports, charts, and evaluations, with easier integration into existing and third-party systems and clear business value from faster, more efficient reporting.
