University of Texas School of Law launches 56-page Texas Law Magazine with Pentagram

The University of Texas School of Law engaged Pentagram to create a new official publication from scratch. The challenge was to design a biannual magazine that would reflect the stature of the top-ranked law school, requiring a complete reimagining of its content, page architecture, and overall look-and-feel.

Pentagram developed a clean, modern identity and editorial design for the magazine, now named Texas Law Magazine. The solution included a new structure with sections named after common law terms, a flexible page grid, and custom typography. The resulting 56-page launch issue featured entirely new content, reimagined departments, and a sophisticated design that successfully communicates the school's prestige and global influence.
